Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about privacy, connections, licensing, offline use and platforms.

Can TigerMole read my prompts?

Masking happens locally. TigerMole does not receive your prompts, code or original secrets.

Which connections does it make?

The proxy sends the already-masked prompt to Anthropic. The TigerMole API is used for license activation, deactivation and revalidation; it does not receive prompt content.

What happens when a license expires?

The proxy blocks traffic until you activate a valid key. There is no silent downgrade to an unprotected mode.

Does it work offline?

Yes, after activation. The license is periodically revalidated and has a limited offline window.

Can I use my own encryption key?

Yes. Team uses an X25519 public key to encrypt ENC2 logs. Generate the pair in Keygen and keep the private key in a vault.

Is macOS supported?

macOS is planned, but current downloads support Windows and Linux.
