Can TigerMole read my prompts?
The application processes content temporarily in memory to detect and replace sensitive values. TigerMole servers do not receive prompts, responses, code or detected secrets. The persistent audit does not include that content either.
Which tools are supported?
Version 1.4.6 supports Claude Code and Codex on Windows and Linux. See the coverage matrix for current versions and limitations.
Which connections does it make?
Masked traffic is sent to the provider selected by Claude Code or Codex. The application also contacts the TigerMole API to activate, deactivate and revalidate the license; those requests do not include conversation content.
What happens when a license expires?
TigerMole disables masking and displays a visible warning. Claude Code and Codex continue working without TigerMole protection. Activate a valid key before sending sensitive content.
Does it work offline?
Yes, after activation. The license is periodically revalidated and the last valid activation is retained for an offline window of up to 30 days.
Can I use my own encryption key?
Yes. With Team, you can import an X25519 public key to encrypt logs or exports intended for review. It is optional: TigerMole can be installed, activated and used without one. Generate the pair in Keygen and keep the private key in a vault.
Is macOS supported?
macOS is planned, but current downloads support Windows and Linux.
