TigerMole browser extension for local data protection
The extension works with the local client to apply protection on supported sites. Its menu shows the current page’s status and provides access to settings.
What you need
Install and activate the TigerMole local client first. Published coverage includes Chrome, Edge and Firefox; check the client, extension and site versions before using sensitive data. The icon alone does not confirm that a flow is protected.
Sites and available controls
Documented coverage includes Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. The menu shows the current site and protection status. Individual users can review available controls; in Teams, protection is managed by team policy.
Files and local restoration
File previews remain masked. The extension can enable restoration to recover values locally in compatible files. Review settings and format limitations before using this option.
Installation and limitations
Start with the installation guide, then verify the integration status. The extension does not automatically protect every site, browser or format. The security matrix documents scope and limitations by version.
